Communities Serving Our Nation's Veterans
Because no Veteran should have to sleep on the floor.
Helping Veterans one bed at a time!
Beds-for-Vets is a simple way for houses of worship and organizations to provide beds for Veterans and their families who are exiting homelessness.
Houses of worship or organizations ask their members to donate at least $1 per month so that at the end of each month there typically will be enough funds to cover the cost of at least one bed.
The goal is to have at least 15-20 locations in each community taking part in this program with the result being that at least 15-20 or more beds will be available every month for our Veterans exiting homelessness.
When a Veteran exits homelessness they often do not have all the Move-in-Essentials needed to set up their new residence.
One of the most needed of those essentials is a bed.
Military Outreach USA created the Beds for Vets program to provide to Veterans and their families who are existing homelessness a bed to sleep in. Beds are delivered to a VA facility and then are given to a qualified veteran in need.
Beds are one of the only areas of our work where funding is required.

EVERY DONATION COUNTS
Whether $5.00 or $1000.00, 100% of every donation will be used to support this program.
How Does the Beds for Vets Program work?
Beds are either delivered in bulk to a VA facility to be distributed to qualified Veterans in the VA Homeless Program or they are ordered one at a time from our partners at Mattress Firm to be delivered to a qualified Veteran.
There are minimum order requirements for bulk orders and they vary by region. Contact Military Outreach USA at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on bulk orders.
Adopters may be contact by their VA facility as to the potential of buying a bed for a Veteran or their family.
Note: VA does not typically accept donations of used mattresses.
Helping Veteran's families as well.
A bed will make all the difference in the world to a Veteran exiting homelessness!
